The Lazy Girl’s Guide to Make Money with AI

"the lazy girl's guide to make money with AI"

Even With No Followers. No Time, and No Energy After Work

Most nights, I open my laptop after bedtime and just… sit.
Not because I’m lazy — but because I’m exhausted.

Between work, parenting, and everything else life piles on… the idea of building a blog or business sometimes feels like adding more weight to an already full plate.

But deep down, I still wanted something more.

Something that didn’t require posting three times a day.
Something I could build with ease.
Something that worked while I rested.
Something that could exist outside of doomscrolling on TikTok or Instagram.

That’s when I started experimenting with AI tools. Not to replace me — but to support me.

And today, I want to show you how I’m using ChatGPT, Harpa.ai, WriterZen, and Ideogram.ai to start a blog that runs on systems, not stress.

What Even Is AI (and Why Should You Care?)

If the word “AI” makes your brain shut down a little, I totally get it. It felt too complicated and intimidating to me too at first.

But here’s how I see it now:
AI is like a quiet little team of assistants that helps me write, plan, design, and organize things I don’t have energy for.

It doesn't make your content for you.
It just removes the weight of starting.
And that’s half the battle when you’re tired.

The AI Toolkit I Use to Build My Blog
(Without Burnout)

There are so many tools out there, but I’ve found a simple mix that actually supports my life as a working single mom.

Here’s my lineup — and exactly what each tool does for me:

1. ChatGPT — My Digital Business Brain 🧠

If I had to choose only one tool, this would be it.

I use ChatGPT like a private business assistant who knows me. I’ve taught it my brand voice, what I sell, who I talk to, and how I structure content. It remembers everything — and I reuse the same custom prompt file each time I open it.

Here’s how I use it:

  • To map out launch ideas

  • To write email subject lines

  • To draft blog intros and outlines

  • To plan Instagram captions

  • To brainstorm new offers

It’s basically my marketing department — without the meetings.

2. Harpa.ai — My Research + Content Assistant

Harpa.ai is a free Chrome extension that lives right inside your browser. And it’s magic.

You can highlight any webpage and ask Harpa to summarize it, pull bullet points, create a blog outline, or suggest content angles.

When I’m tired but want to batch ideas quickly, I let Harpa do the heavy lifting.

I use it to:

  • Summarize trending blog posts

  • Find angles for blog content or Reels

  • Turn competitor pages into outline inspiration

3. WriterZen — My Favorite SEO Tool

I used to think SEO was for super smart people or niche bloggers. But WriterZen made me realize it can actually be very simple.

I use it to:

  • Find blog keywords that are easy to rank for

  • Build content clusters (like mini topic libraries)

  • Plan my posts based on what people actually search for

This is how I’m building a blog that works while I sleep.

4. Ideogram.ai — For Blog Graphics + Pinterest Pins

I’m not a designer, but I still want my blog to feel beautiful.

With Ideogram, I can type in an aesthetic prompt and get graphics back that look custom-made. I use it to create blog headers, Pinterest pins, and quote graphics that match my brand vibe.

I no longer get stuck trying to “design something cute” in Canva when I’m drained. If I can’t create my design correctly in Canva, then I just type, tweak, download. Sometimes, I prefer this method over Canva because Ideogram generates my images instantly.

How I Use All 4 Tools Together

Here’s a peek into how this all flows together in real life:

  1. I open ChatGPT, where I’ve saved my brand voice and audience details.
→ I ask it to write a blog intro or outline.

  2. I use Harpa.AI to research blog post ideas from other websites or articles.
→ It gives me summaries and angles.

  3. I open WriterZen to find low-competition keywords that match the topic.
→ I make sure it’s something people are actually Googling.

  4. I polish my blog post using ChatGPT again for clarity or headline help.

  5. I create a graphic in Ideogram.ai for the blog images and Pinterest.

  6. I post it. I pin it. And I move on.
→ No reels. No algorithm stress. Just quiet momentum.

Why This Isn’t About Being Lazy

Let’s be honest — it’s not that we’re lazy. We’re just stretched thin. Most of us are working, parenting, healing,
and dreaming at the same time.

And showing up online every day just to “stay visible”? It’s not sustainable — or necessary.

This is a different way.
A slower way.
A way that respects your energy and still builds something real.

You Don’t Have to Hustle to Be Smart

I’m building this blog one post at a time — sometimes during nap time, sometimes at midnight.

I’m not chasing followers.
I’m creating systems.

And these AI tools?
They’re my team.

If you’re curious about what I’m using, here are the links to check them out:

You don’t need a niche.
You don’t need a big audience.
You just need a system that makes space for your life.
